It's finally happening again. I haven't seen this kind of activity in years (2007 for the most part). Not only are we seeing new construction in the business corridor, we are seeing new Custom Homes being erected. This is telling me that the local economy is back to a point where construction is comfortable and favorable again.
We still have hundreds of homes on the market and it seems we are slowly reducing the amount of foreclosures on the block. The Buyers are now getting to the point of going into a sale expecting a Bidding War. Sure, there are still the ones that are outside of the, "Desired Areas" but, just the same.
Last year we started seeing some homes selling at a higher price than what they were listed for. This year it's becoming prevalent, especially in the homes on the North, West and Southwest sides of Town. This is a good sign for things to come.
