With the new year upon us, it's time to start looking at the numbers generated from Homes Sales in 2011, compared to the previous year. In 2010, Archuleta County in Southwest Colorado, saw reported homes sales in the MLS at 257 units. Now that the numbers are finally in, (with the exception of a few stragglers) the number of sales in 2011 has risen to 352. For this County that is an amazing statistic and it shows that our Market has already turned around and is alive and growing again. With the news of a "Big Box" store moving in to this County and preparing to break ground, it will only enhance the projected sales in the coming year. Home prices have also showed signs of a rebound and in some cases have already began to rise again, although just slightly. |
